Family
In today's culture the family lifestyle is splintering into little pieces. Parents are working late hours, kids are out late, there is no time for sit down family dinners, and family members are not opening up to their families. Family members crave their own space and often live separate lives under the same roof. Parents are secluding themselves after long days of work. They would rather not socialize with their kids and would rather relax by watching T.V or a movie. "Vacations are getting shorter and are often interrupted with work, or even worse, many do not have the time for a vacation. A welcome distraction is the presence of social media and the internet providing an easy excuse not to connect when exhaustion is so high.
It has been well established that most adults suffer adverse health effects from stress, and 75–90% of all physician office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints" (Rao). Stress is a big factor in family life problems and often steals the energy needed to interact in healthy ways at the end of a day. Stress is taking over family life and shattering it.

Work is pulling families apart.
Work is one of the pillars of society upon which communities and nations are built. From the beginning of time there was work. I believe work was a good thing intended to provide humankind with meaningful occupation, interaction and production and a means to provide; however, in current days, work many times has become a huge strain on families and households even though it is intended to make way for a better life. "Individuals experiencing greater work–life balance have better health and wellness, greater organizational commitment, greater job satisfaction, better goal achievement, and family happiness. At the family level, work-life balance promotes greater marital and family stability, family cohesion, and marital and family happiness. Work–life balance reduces turnover, improves performance, and lowers the incidences of lateness and absenteeism" (Rao). Balancing work with life and not making work someones life is so vital to living a fulfilled life and achieving a better family dynamic.
Definiton of fulfilled life
